Inspiration for the design came from Holden's ( Tiki Farm owner and chief mug maker ) mother, who had one of the largest vintage antique Santa Claus collections in North America. Santa’s Groovy Trip is not only a nod to Holden's mom, but also to his being a child of the 60's ( and a kid of the 70's ). Hence, Santa is just a wee bit left-of-center… as the name implies.
